Vertep

Vertep was established in 2001. in Dnepropetrovsk, also known as Gurt Mandrivnye Dyaki. The group performs solo and festival performances in many cities of Ukraine and Poland. The official discography includes 5 albums, but you can hear some songs from some music collections. Since 2007 the group has been writing songs in the style of ethno-fusion with elements of jazz, art-rock, etc. The current musical style can be called world music.
In addition to authors and ethnic texts, the Vertep group writes songs based on the texts of contemporary Ukrainian poets (S. Zhadan, U. Pokalchuk, M. Savka, etc.). You can hear him on the album "Virshospivi" (2009).
The synthesis of the nature of Ukrainian dance melodies, Eastern and Western musical lyrics, Latin American and Afro-Asian rhythms, jazz and rock standards in the Chanson context, American pop music and the Ukrainian people with traditional musical instruments - you should listen to this music, a mixture of world traditions.
Vertep-band brings together a variety of music programs that are harmonious for different concerts. Depending on the style of concerts, the group creates its own musical format for ethno, jazz or rock. Vertep's songs can decorate evening and open clubs, national, ethno or private holidays, literature festival, etc.
